My trusted client, a globally recognised brand are seeking experienced ‘Business Analyst’ to join the team as a result of an internal promotions.

On the consultancy side of the business, our respected partner collaborates closely with their clients, equipping them to better meet the challenges of today, while preparing them to exploit tomorrow’s opportunities. Through their hands-on consulting resources they go beyond strategy. They provide the necessary technology architecture and implementation that well positions their clients to transform and to achieve operational excellence, manage IT complexity, better understand, predict and control risk and develop practical and productive responses to regulation.

Their Software Delivery project(s) has been awarded a substantial increase in strategic investment and as a result is recruiting a significant number of additional headcount.

Responsibilities of the Senior Business Analyst

In addition to the responsibilities of the Business Analyst:

• Interacts independently with the customer in order to gather business requirements and translate / document high level requirements.
• Help translate functional vision into a technical solution (acting as a buddy to Technical Lead / Solution Architect).
• participates in presales activities providing a deep knowledge of the system, the domain and of the possible solutions
• Supports junior analysts in their daily tasks, reviews their work where necessary. Can effectively delegate the work to junior colleagues, while keeping responsibility on result.
• Acts as a content expert on the project/product. Identifies pro’s and con’s of the proposed solution by customer and suggests the most efficient one.
• Assist in project planning, risk and issue management (priority management, identification of dependencies, risk and issue contingencies/mitigation). Ensures adequate costs/benefits balance of the project.
• Provide suggestions to enhance tailoring guidelines and evolve the target operating model.
• Lead and organize workshops especially related to definition and design of solutions.

Senior Business Analyst:

Essential:

• Experience in defining and designing of IT Solutions based on complex business requirements.
• University education and degree (strongly preferable Finance, Computer Science or IT related)
• Minimum of 6 years experience in a client facing position
• Experienced in requirements management and/or process modeling
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Excellent written and verbal skills in English
• Perseverance to solve complex problems
• Ability to describe in a clear and structured way complex solutions
• Ability to manage work load effectively and efficiently under high pressure environment
• Ability to work in a multicultural and international environment.
• Lead communication channels with the client on definition and design of solutions.

Desirable (both for BA and Senior BA):

• Experienced in one of the following: risk management, actuarial science, IFRS concepts, financial instruments. Strongly preferred for Senior BA.
• Consulting experience is an advantage.
• Business Process Management tools
• Cross Domain/function exposure (Especially for Senior BA)
