My trusted client, a globally recognised brand are seeking experienced ‘Application Project Manager (Agile) Implementation & Migration’ to join the team as a result of an internal promotions.

Their Software Delivery project(s) has been awarded a substantial increase in strategic investment and as a result is recruiting a significant number of additional headcount.
The ‘Application Project Manager Implementation & Migration’ will:
-Work on multiple projects primarily based on Banking Applications and Software.
–Manage Implementation and Migration project deliveries including budgets and resources.
-Assist in overall Implementation and Migration Projects resource planning.
-Provide pre-contract assistance to the sales team.
-Report to the Program Director and Executive Management team.
The ‘Application Project Manager Implementation & Migration’ general tasks:
-A leader/ delegate of the technical project delivery team.
-Manage multiple client projects as directed by the Delivery Director against agreed budgets and timescales.
-Monitor all aspects of the project to ensure it meets company standards, methodologies and quality assurance guidelines.
-Control, monitor and report progress against plan and take corrective action as necessary in order to meet delivery obligations.
-Prepare project initiation documents, project plans including resource estimates, timescales, dependencies and project budgets to company standards.
-Maintain and develop business relationships with assigned clients through project kick off meetings, and ongoing project meetings presenting a professional image.
-Ensure that appropriate after sales support is provided and that service levels and client perception remains high.
-Perform a liaison role between the client and company such that current and future opportunities are maximised.
-Ensure that projects are resourced correctly, reporting any resource conflicts to the Program Director.
The ‘Application Project Manager Implementation & Migration’ has business knowledge and planning skills:
-Must have content driven Project Management experience with Banking Applications or Banking Software.
-Experience in a similar project management role in a financial services Software company.
-Experience in a customer facing role using consultative skills.
-Core Banking knowledge.
-Familiar with the implementation of greenfield package installations.
-Experience with migration projects.
-Experience with implementation projects.
-Working with distributed teams => understands the cultural differences.
-Knows how to plan projects.
-Knows how to identify and set midterm milestones and objectives.
-Knows what the planning analysis and planning tools are and how to use them.
-Knows how to implement process improvement and what tools are available.
-Is able to come up with mitigation plans / has the possibilities to think out of the box.
-Preferably, has a IT Software background.
-is more content/functional driven than process/business driven in the Banking Application or Software environment.
-NOT ICT Infrastructure focussed.
-Client relationships / negotiation skills.
-Project Management qualification e.g. Prince II.
-Understand the Software Development LifeCycle.
-Agile / Scrum.
-Good working knowledge of MS Office products.
-Good working knowledge of MS Project.
-Excellent oral and written skills.
-Knows how to facilitate and manage meetings.
-Knows how to structure a negotiation.
-Knows how to structure a communication in order to communicate difficult and/or emotive content sensitively.
-Advanced communication skills (report writing, presentations, conferences, group situations).
Qualifications and Experience:
-Degree qualification (BSc, BA, etc.).
-4 to 8 years post qualification experience in banking and financial environments.
-Generally manages medium to large projects (i.e., approximately 3,000 to 10,000 project hours with a team of 5 to 15 team members).
-Must speak Dutch and English.
