As a Junior System Administrator you will assist to make sure that the Windows Stack and Domain are fully up and running and properly configured. You are extremely service quality oriented. Your technical capability is based on having a broad knowledge of the general IT landscape and in-depth expertise of the Microsoft Server landscape. You will be involved with problem and incident solving and therefor you are able to provide maintenance support and resolve complex server incidents.

 

The Junior System Administrator;

Although this is a permanent in-house position at the employer, at the company, you see yourself meeting the customer expectations by understanding the requirements of the customers’ business, the scope of the project and the impact on the delivery of service. As a Junior System Administrator you are able to follow established service processes, contribute to definition and improvement of operational processes to eliminate problems and develop new service processes. You will manage systems within SLA and/or customer requirements, propose and define improvements and implement changes to meet service level requirements. Due to your communicative behaviour, you will also establish working relationships with customers to deliver and enhance the services. It is important that you are alert so that you can identify and assess risks in an early stage and ensure that the availability of systems is not put at risk. In order to be a fitting Junior System Administrator team member it is important for the client to also promote knowledge sharing and development of other team members.

 

Desired Skills & Experience;

-BSc. or MSc. degree or equivalent IT education.

-6 months to 3 year professional experience in an IT company.

-Strong knowledge or experience working with Windows 2008/2012/2016, SQL, SCOM/ SCCM.

-Preferably MCSA Windows Server certified.

-Flexible, willing to work occasionally extra hours.

-Team player with good communication skills;

-Excellent English language skills, written and verbal.
